Not nearly as good as Marisa's, but too much fun to pass up. This one introduces Vicky Chambers, medical examiner extraordinare. It feels a little uneven to me, but I'm sick of tinkering with it. Enjoy (or not, entirely up to you).

Oh, and any thoughts about the car issue? Emily, could I pay you for the month of August and park in your spot for a couple weeks? Yes, no? Not a good idea? Marco?
I don't even think this counts as fanfic anymore. I mean, on some level, this is connected to CSI, as Greg Sanders looks like Greg Sanders, but really other than that? 1940s Minneapolis and the antics of an errand boy and a PI's secretary? It's a sparkling gem of fiction, ladies and gents. In which, Michael Patrick O'Flanagan, our favorite closeted detective, appears as does [edited] Charlie (Matt) Murdock if only off-screen.

Set in the "Cold Burn" 'verse, as proposed and originated by savvygal.

Greg Sanders vividly remembered wanting to be a detective as child. Collapse )

...or the Deames fic. It's been a long time coming, but it's here now. It's totally gen and introduces Julie, who I've decided by utter lack of anyone to contradict me, is Deakins's oldest daughter. And yes, math-related title.

Okay so this is mostly set up for the next part, but it's a little Lab Girls to pass the time. Now I'm going to get off the computer and go find something productive to do.

Nothing says Cool like fanficCollapse )
